Our origin story

We Built the Planner We Wished Existed

It started with a notebook, a deadline, and a lot of coffee.

In 2018, Sarah Jenkins was a freelance graphic designer working for three different clients simultaneously. She was brilliant at her craft, but terrible at managing her time. She spent her days drowning in sticky notes, losing track of invoices, and feeling guilty every time she looked at her phone.

On a particularly chaotic Tuesday night, she grabbed a blank notebook and started sketching. She wanted a planner that didn't feel like a chore. She wanted something that would ask her how she was feeling, not just what she needed to do. She wanted to feel good about her work, not just get it done.

That notebook became Vitalux. Sarah spent the next year coding the first version in her living room, fueled by determination and way too much espresso. Today, that simple idea has helped thousands of people find their rhythm.

Our mission

Bright Days, Better Work

We believe a well-organized day is a form of self-care.

The humans behind Vitalux

Meet the Team

We're a small, remote-first crew spread across three time zones, united by a love for clean design and productive mornings.

Sarah Jenkins

Sarah Jenkins

Founder & CEO. Former burnt-out designer. She still drinks too much coffee, but at least her inbox is under control now.

Alex Rivera

Lead Developer. Obsessed with clean code and perfect UI. He can build a feature in his sleep (and has, once).

Jordan Lee

Product Designer. Makes sure everything looks as good as it functions. Believes in the power of a good typeface.

Casey O'Malley

Customer Happiness. The voice you hear when you email us. She answers every ticket personally, usually with a smile.

We launched our iOS and Android apps, allowing users to plan their days from anywhere.

  • 2023: 42k+ Users

We've helped over 42,000 people organize their days. We're just getting started.

How we work

Our Core Values

Warmth

We treat our users like friends, not numbers. Kindness isn't just a vibe; it's how we build software.

Clarity

No jargon, no clutter, no confusion. We strip away the noise so you can focus on what matters.

Honesty

We tell it like it is. If a feature isn't ready, we say so. If we make a mistake, we own it.

Joy

Productivity should feel good. We celebrate your wins, big and small, because they matter.

Life at Vitalux
